Better Burlingame for Everyone

I am Howard Wettan and I am running for Burlingame City Council in District 3.  

 

I am running to build new public spaces for things like indoor sports, wellness, and performing arts.

 

I am running to improve transit solutions to make it easier to access our downtown and help students get to school safely.

I am running to make sure we are vigilant about fire safety in Mills Canyon. 

​

I bring more than 15 years of hands-on local service to this work—ten years on the Traffic Safety and Parking Commission, including three terms as chair; five years on the Parks and Recreation Commission; and 15 years overseeing school bond spending on our School District’s Bond Oversight Committee, six as chair. In 2024 I was honored with the H. J. Burns Award for Public Service.
